Remap

I have decide to have my D5 remapped. Can someone recommend somewhere around the Leeds area that will do a good job for a reasonable price. PS. How much is this likely to cost? Cheers

the most reputable ones seems to be: BSR MTE RICA You can search them on t'interweb. I'm pretty sure i'm going to go for the BSR PPC unit on my S60 D5 once the warranty is out.

Charlwood Volvo do a RICA for 282 + VAT. But you might find yourself getting through tyres and DMF's a bit quicker.

as far as I know the remap is just for the engine maps, so timings, boost pressure, throttle sensitivity etc

Thanks for the info guys, but not really into DIY stuff anymore. Cars today are too complicated, not like to old days when they had carburetors etc. I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire so Charlwood is not an option. The responses from Dynosaur concern me a little, which is why I asked for references for local suppliers Cheers Rick
