Are you referring to the siren? I'm planning to locate mine too (2004 V40). I'm not sure since what year volvo changed the location of the sirens but looking at the parts book at the dealer, for the 2003 and 2004 models, it shows it to be somewhere near the bonnet catch lock.

YEP, its the siren im looking for, when alarm goes off in mine just the indicators flash, was wondering if it is conected to the siren
