760 rear lamp units

Can anybody tell if the rear lamp units on the 740 are the same as the one on my 760gle, as I have a broken one due to a nice person in a carpark. Its a 1988 saloon.

they aren't the same but they will fit. You'd need to get the pair so they would both match ideally :)

Cheers, I have a parts list from a swedish parts company which has the volvo parts numbers on it and it looks like you are right. one has chrome trim and the other is black, but they are the same part numbers for both 740 & 760

PAZ3154, Sorry for the long delay I have been away working. You were right the lens is the same but the flexi circuit board is completely different. Lucky the old one was in good condition so I swapped it over and all now works fine. Cheers
