RE: v70r awd

Hi Ive just replaced my Bevel Box (Transfer) on my 97 V70R and that was because its had been neglected by garages in the hands of its previous owners. Its had a bad oil leak from the output seals and it took .7Ltr to top up and thats about what they hold in oil.To be honest there was no bad noises from it which is a surprise but i changed it to to be safe. The car came with loads of history which is correct till you read the service report stating no oil leaks at bevel box (yer right) .If yours is ok just check the oil and i think it will be fine. There was a post on here with a link on a superb mod to change the oil.I will try and find it. Hope this helps.Mike
