Ah btw, another thing regarding mixer scrolling: Many of us seem to use the mixer docked to the left in a track inspector kind of way, where we always see the channel of the currently selected track. In those cases it can be a bit confusing when you mistakingly scroll while over the MCP. Would it be possible to add an option to disable scrolling with mouse (so that it is only possible by dragging that "thing" at the bottom)? I don't think anyone using this workflow might need to see another track than the currently selected one.
